An ionizing device produces quantities of negative and positive ions in the proximity of a statically charged surface. These ions attract and neutralize those found on the surface, neutralizing the electrostatic charge. The use of nitrogen in spray coating eliminates any preliminary treatment because the nature of nitrogen is anhydrous tending to eliminate all traces of moisture and has a low weight which does not affect the outlet paint flow of the spray gun thus obtaining a high quality spray coat. The NITROTHERM SPRAY saves time and up to 50% of the paint sprayed.
